• Senior Engineer @ Gratify Pay July 2021 - Present

  • Extensively involved in the design and architecture.

  • Designed and architected various components for a payment processing system on AWS.

  • Designed and built the risk evaluation system. 

  • Developed a core API and payment processor using CDK and Step Functions, with support for multiple payment gateways and configurations.

  • Built a generalized/configurable gateway that reduced integration time for new payment gateways from approximately two weeks to one day.

  • Developed a refunds service that supports full, partial, and credit refunds, staging, approvals, execution management, and retries.

  • Implemented an end-to-end data transformation pipeline to convert DynamoDB records to normalized SQL for a data lake.

  • Created a system for managing public and secret keys, as well as settlements for merchants.

  • Developed a custom integration testing suite using Jest to run hundreds of parallel test orders with various configurations and state assertions.

Past:

• CoronaTrack (2019): Generalized open-sourced privacy preserving contact tracing that uses infection probability for any p2p disease.  

• SteresDB (2021): A sub-1000 line distributed linked tokenized key value store for sequences. It's persistent, does O(1) read/write and uses Leveldb for indexing, and filesystem for blob storage. Written in Go.

• Beyond the word (2021): Ocular reference for iOS,  because its very inefficient to look up words while you're reading a book, and it breaks the flow. Written in Swift. Download on the App Store "Beyond the Word" if the link doesn't work.  

• Physics Kafe: Before khan academy came to India. Non profit. Peaked at 8000 students. Did this in grade 9.

• Vignette Digital: Digital marketing and web design agency. Did this in grade 10.
